TONYA -
With over 6 years of experience in the industry, Tonya has created a hair color culture all her own. She began her career with training at the Aveda Institute in Indianapolis, followed by an intensive apprentice training program at one of Chicago's most highly regarded salons. Upon completion, Tonya quickly rose through the ranks to become a senior colorist. For the last 5 years she worked at one of Chicago's top hair salons. Tonya is certified in Great Length Extensions and is a certified Aveda Hair Colorist. She implements her trendsetting, extraordinary vision to achieve precisely what each client desires - from seamless sunkissed highlights to Ombre highlights to exceptional fashion forward color and hair cuts. Her men's and women's cut are outstanding. Central Illinois is fortunate to have such an accomplished and skilled hairdresser in the area. Tonya and her husband and new born baby recently relocated from Chicago in order to be closer to family.
JENNIFER -
With 11 years experience as a stylist/colorist, Jennifer's education in the arts began in college where she studied ceramics and sculpture. In1994 she moved to Chicago where she taught ceramics at the Wrightwood Gallery in Lincoln Park. In 1999 Jennifer attended a Pivot Point cosmetology school followed by completion of a year long intensive apprentice program in a top salon/spa. Jennifer then enhanced her education working closely with a renowned hairstylist of Art and Science Salon in Chicago. She is a certified Aveda Hair Colorist and in 2012 plans to attend the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London. Jennifer's achievements in the industry include advanced training at the Redken Exchange in NYC, specialized curly hair cutting/styling techniques, Ombre highlights, cuts for thin/fine hair, dry cuts, Grund Method razor cuts, extreme precision cutting, gray coverage, color correction and unique foil coloring. She considers each guests desires, facial shape, life style and skin tone prior to each service. She has the unique ability to create colors/cuts in a wide range of style and influences: from the traditional, classic and understated to the most extreme edge of funky. Jennifer is a member of the National Cosmetology Association.
WHITNEY -
Whitney began her career 6 years ago at Midwest College, one of the top Cosmetology schools in the nation. She then advanced her training by completing an apprenticeship under a famous platform artist and international educator. Whitney worked as a stylist in San Diego before returning to the Champaign area to be closer to family. She specializes in advanced hair color techniques, corrective color, traditional/classic colors to the high fashion bold/edgy colors. Whitney possesses an extraordinary gift of understanding color theory. Whitney is a certified Aveda Colorist. She has also studied under world renowned colorists and educators while advancing her knowledge of the Joico color line. Whitney is quickly becoming central Illinois' premier hair colorist. In 2012, Whitney will pursue work in photo shoots and editorials as well as complete advanced training in order to become a salon educator with Aveda. Whitney listens closely to what her guests desire and has consistently uplifted her clients confidence and feelings of beauty. She is a member of the National Cosmetology Association.
JUDY -
Judy's career began almost 25 years ago with the famous John Amico. From there she apprenticed under Paul Kane and went on to work in Champaign's finest most popular salons. Judy's hair cuts are executed with extreme expert precision and specializes in short, fun, pixie, retro hair cuts. Judy has advanced her career by recently becoming a certified Aveda colorist and knows exactly what colors would be perfect for each of her guests. With her extensive experience, Judy creates highlights, lowlights and color which compliment her extraordinary flawless hair cuts.
