Let me begin by announcing that as of September 2011 we use only Aveda products and Aveda hair color. After considerable time and energy researching various manufacturers, we found absolutely no comparison. Aveda hair color is 97% naturally derived, infused with lavender and jojoba oils. Aveda uses wind mill energy, organic and botanical ingredients inspired by plant based healing traditions from around the world, uses recycled packaging, opened a paper mill in Nepal creating 1000 full time jobs (fair trade). Aveda creates jobs in the U.S. as they are based out of Minneapolis. Aveda products do not pollute the water source and they continually donate funds towards disaster relief, environmental protection and more. These events are held on the last Thursday of every month at different local venues. Each event raises money for local and non for profit organizations.
Gift Certificate Donations for Junior League of Champaign. An upcoming holiday auction at The Festival of Trees. This auction raises money for children in the community who need backpacks for school as well as providing food to children on weekends, when they are unable to eat at school, and do not have enough food at home.
