Jennifer

 

In addition to 10 years experience as a stylist, Jennifer has extensive advanced training at the Redken Exchange in NYC, razor cut training with Grund and refined her cutting techniques under a master formerly of Mac Daddy in Chicago. Dedicated to precision work and exceptional color Jennifer considers each persons unique facial shape, skin tone, lifestyle and natural texture when consulting guests and while creating the final look. Jennifer specializes in razor cuts, foil technique coloring influenced by Kim Vo, gray coverage, cuts for fine/thin hair, dry cutting, color correction, high end fashion cuts influenced by the precision work of Vidal Sassoon.  Jennifer is a member of the National Cosmetology Association and Behind the Chair dot com.

Doug

 

Doug has travelled the United States teaching other hair stylists color and cutting techniques, has had advanced training at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica California, Deva Curl in NYC and more.  Doug has worked on the sets of photo shoots and fashion shows and has been published in hair styling magazines.  With 18 years experience, Doug is a master colorist and specializes in curly hair, Asian hair, straight hair, precision cutting, dry cuts and exceptional foiling techniques.  Doug has travelled to London and NYC to visit hair salons and has a wide range of style.  He takes a very personalized approach to each clients desire.  Doug accepts appointments with men and women.

Cindy

As the former owner of Allure Salon, Cindy has stayed on as a master stylist to provide expert hair services for her clients and to share her vast knowledge of technical skills. With 27 years in the industry, Cindy is truly an expert in hair color and cutting techniques. Cindy was awarded as Champaign's “Women You Should Know” by Illini Media Group in 2008. We are so fortunate to have her on the team. Cindy is not currently accepting new clients, however her presence in the salon provides a fun and calming atmosphere. She is a valuable resource for our team.

Amber

Amber has 11 years experience in the industry. She is one of the areas leading hair colorists, she specializes in foil highlights, gray coverage and the latest trends in unique hair color. Every year Amber attends Expressions Hair Show in Chicago for advanced education. If you are looking for special effects in hair color or to maintain the look you already have Amber has the talent and experience. She is regularly found reading hair color technique articles and thinks “out of the box” when formulating her clients color. Amber also specializes in mens and womens cuts as well as styling.

Judy

Judy has been at Allure since the beginning. With over 25 years experience she is an expert and mens/womens cuts, color, covering gray and permanent waves. Judy yearly attends Chicago hair shows for advanced training and to update her techniques. Judy creates cool and funky short hair cuts for woman of all ages and will incorporate highlights to enhance the dimensions of her hair cuts.

Whitney

Whitney has 3 solid years of experience as a hair stylist. Whitney is friendly, easy to talk to and down to earth. She specializes in foil highlights/lowlights, corrective color, as well as hair cuts for men, women and children. Whitney shows her clients how to style their hair at home incorporating products and techniques that are easy to use. She is the youngest member of the Allure team bringing hip sophistication to women and men in their twenties.  Whitney is attending advanced education classes in Los Angeles California December 2010.
